Mr Greedy

Mr Greedy (1991) by Roger Hargreaves – World International Publishing Ltd
From Crappy Old Books – where nostalgia comes pre-creased.

Meet Mr Greedy: the pink, pear-shaped glutton with an appetite as big as his ego. In this classic tale from the Mr. Men series, Roger Hargreaves serves up a moral lesson in moderation with his trademark mix of charm, simplicity, and gentle British wit. First devoured by readers in the ’70s and still going strong, this 1991 edition is a delightful flashback to a time when books were short, sweet, and knew how to judge a man by his stomach.

Our copy? Let’s just say Mr Greedy wasn’t the only one who overindulged—this book has been well-handled. Expect frayed edges, some "decorative" crayon, and a smell that says "attic, 1998."
