Before MotoGP was a thing, before the Isle of Man TT needed warning labels, Britain’s Racing Motor Cycles captured the raw, roaring soul of postwar British engineering at full throttle. In this grease-streaked gem from 1952, author L.R. Higgins documents the great machines and greater men who risked life, limb, and sideburns in the name of speed. Expect black-and-white photos that smell like petrol, lovingly detailed specs, and the kind of prose that takes its tea with two sugars and no nonsense.

A must for vintage bike lovers, classic racing fanatics, and anyone who thinks modern motorcycles have too many electronics and not enough character. Slightly tattered. Possibly foxed. Definitely fabulous.

Get it now before it rusts into legend.

This copy has been preserved with a sheet of what looks like cling film, professionaly wrapped around it to protect it from the ravishes of time. You can remove it if you like. Reasonable dust cover, but does have some nips to the back and spine, but the cling film has carefully preserved the remains as if in amber, for your convenience. Binding good and strong.
