Vets Might Fly

Vets Might Fly is another heartwarming and humorous installment in James Herriot’s beloved series of veterinary memoirs. Set against the backdrop of World War II, this volume follows Herriot as he temporarily trades the Yorkshire Dales for the Royal Air Force. With his characteristic wit and warmth, Herriot reflects on his training days, the colorful characters he meets, and his enduring love for animals and the countryside. Whether navigating the chaos of military life or recalling unforgettable cases from his veterinary rounds, Herriot’s storytelling shines with charm, compassion, and gentle humor. A must-read for fans of uplifting, true-life tales with a touch of nostalgia.

Slight scribble mark on back like someone used it to scribble on a piece of paper on the book, hardly noticable, but if your extepcting grade A stuff, then it might matter.
