The Takeover

Ignore the John Menzies Book Bargain sticker, this is a 1973 and 60p was a lot back then. THe sticker is in fact a very early example of its type as book sellers started to use them and make their books look like they were worthless bits of trash that no one wanted.

This is a fantastic hardcover with good dust jacket and it looks like someone bought it and never read it, its in that good a condition.

Looks like a first edition, so I added £10 to the price, considering the vintage sticker that it comes with. you could buy a ghouse for 60p back then, you probably dont remember 1976, but it was last century and things were different.

This book has its own Wikipedia page, its that good. Somethig about three villas and the disintegration of timeless values in modern society, whatever that means.
